  • Surface Quality

The paint will show everything, the finest details. If your car has scratches or flaws on the surface, you can’t just paint it and expect it to fade away. They appear worse than before. If the old paint is coming out, you have to strip it completely. Bad paint beneath new paint will show up, and those issues will reappear.

  • Sanding

If you paint a car, you will do a lot of sanding. If the current paint is in good state, it must be prepared with a fine Scotch-Brite pad. A soft 500-grit pad is used to provide a rough surface to the existing pad.

  • Rust

One of the common reasons for new paint is to prevent body damage repair. It might be possible your car might have some rust on the surface. The small amounts of rust can deteriorate the paint on your car. It is essential to kill rust before it damages the entire colour.

  • Primer time

You have to apply primer on your car before paint. There are many primer coats available that prepare your car for paint.
